Where it began

Two brothers,
and a question
that wouldn't leave.

January 2024. Ayodhya. Ram Lalla came home after 500 years. Two brothers from Mumbai, Ankit and Vishal Soneji, watched. Then they felt something that millions of families felt that day.

Then came the question: for every family that wanted to bring that feeling into their own home, where did they actually go? Not a souvenir. Not something mass-produced. Something real, made with care, made in India.

They built the answer. That answer is The Smart Shoppee.

Our Journey

The Smart Shoppee is the retail face of Tasmaya Divine Treasures Private Limited. We think of ourselves as something a little bigger than a store, here to carry Sanatan Dharma across the distance between where it began and wherever home is for you now.

To us, an idol was never a "product" waiting to be sold. It's a companion you choose to keep close, a source of peace on hard days and quiet strength on the rest of them. Building that, at scale, without losing what makes it sacred, that's the work.

Every piece we curate is chosen the way we'd choose one for our own home: with real craftsmanship, real intention, and enough care that the modern shelf it sits on still feels like it belongs to something much older than us.

A Ram Lalla for a family in Delhi. A Ganpati for someone's first home in Pune. A Hanuman ji for someone abroad who wants a piece of home on their shelf.

The idol changes. The feeling behind choosing it, wanting something real, made with care, made here, does not. We exist to make that feeling easy to act on.

How we make it

Each idol is hand-finished by Indian artisans, quality-checked against what you'd want to receive, and wrapped carefully so what you open looks exactly as it did when you chose it.

Dedicated 45-people strong production unit located in the heart of Mumbai.

We operate our own dedicated manufacturing unit to maintain absolute purity (Shuddhata). We employ traditional Indian Hindu craftsmen, ensuring ancient sculpting techniques are preserved.

By owning our production, we guarantee that every piece is created with meditative intent and positive energy.
